In late September, Toyota held a ceremony to introduce the four new mobile fabrication laboratories (fab labs) the company created through a partnership with California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) and the W.M. Keck Foundation. These labs, which are meant to help students build stronger science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skills, are an the first entries in what will develop into a worldwide network of almost 900 mobile labs.
